Give a gift that’s fun, cute, practical. The key is to find a gift that fulfills all three characteristics – not an easy task! This year, opt for one of these seven lovely gifts when shopping for your 3-year-old niece or grandchild . She’ll be thrilled with any of them, especially if you personalize it with her name or initials on it.
Table of Contents
1) Fashionable hair accessories
Add some style to her look with some trendy yet stylish hair accessories like headbands (strawberry blonde tutu headband pictured), scrunchies (jumbo scrunchie pictured), clips (kitty clip pictured), and more. Choose something in a color she loves (like pink), has her favorite cartoon character (like Minnie Mouse or Elmo), or anything else she might love.
2) Paint set
Painting is great for encouraging artistic expression, fine motor skills development, as well as lots of quality time together. Your little artist will love to create works of art on canvases provided in traditional paint sets including watercolors , markers , colored pencils , and crayons. Her work of art can then hang on her bedroom wall as a reminder of just how creative she is!
3) Gift card
If you don’t know exactly what sort of present would make your child happy, give him or her a gift card from his/her favorite store. Don’t worry about getting one with a large amount—smaller denomination cards are easier to spend because they won’t seem so overwhelming.
4) Teddy bear
Buy your loved one a special teddy bear he or she can call their own. They may have tons of stuffed animals already but few are truly special and/or memorable, so choose wisely! Find out which bears were their favorites as babies, which ones mom and dad gave them before bedtime every night when they were younger, etc.
5) Doll house
Girls love baby dolls, but a doll house gives them even more room to play and imagine. You could do without things like furniture or use tiny toys instead so it doesn’t end up being too expensive; either way, giving her an opportunity to role play family life will help keep her imagination going strong long after Christmas Day.
6) Child-safe camera
When was the last time she used a child safe camera to capture her best moments? Today’s technology offers some seriously awesome, kid friendly cameras. Check out options like cameras with a lanyard (she can wear it around her neck), videos and photos she takes printed directly onto Polaroid paper, webcams (to connect with friends and relatives over long distances), different kinds of lenses for taking extreme close ups or unique shots of nature and wildlife.
7) Personalized children’s book
Who doesn’t love getting presents that are personalized? Children definitely enjoy seeing their names on presents, so why not buy her a personalized children’s book for Christmas? One of our favorites is I Love My Mommy Because… by Sarah Davis, which is a perfect gift for any child who wants to tell Mom just how much she means to her.
